Winter Markets, featuring local artisans, hot food & drink, children’s workshops,
performances, and more!

ArtPort Kingston is thrilled to announce the return of our annual Artists & Makers Holiday Market. The
event will showcase unique & affordable gifts from regional artists and artisans in a spirited marketplace
inspired by traditional European Holiday Markets of old. Historically and today, these outdoor markets
featured vendors in a pop-up village-like encampment, strewn with warm Christmas lights,
merry-go-rounds, hot beverages, and fun for the whole family. Tapping into our origins in Berlin, ArtPort
Kingston will bring this age-old tradition to Kingston for the first time.
The event will take place at ArtPort Kingston’s newest location, ArtYard Kingston, a creative courtyard in
Kingston’s Midtown neighborhood. Featuring a wide-variety of art, locally crafted goods, antiques, local
cuisine and one-of-a-kind items, the market offers a place for the Kingston community to meet and
mingle in a festive atmosphere amidst performances and art installations, while perusing the
marketplace set in a heated tent structure. The event will be open to the public with a suggested
donation of $5 and will run from December 14-15 between the hours of 12-5PM featuring a different
selection of vendors each day.
Attendees can expect to explore an eclectic mix of handmade goods, including exquisite jewelry,
captivating artwork, intricately crafted ceramics, and much more. With a focus on authenticity and
originality, each item on display tells a story of passion, skill, creativity, and showcases small business
from Kingston and the greater Hudson Valley.
